Meshelle Rawls

Meshelle Rawls currently serves as Director of Administration. Since starting her tenure at the Foundation in 1997, she has provided programmatic support to various initiatives. In addition to office administration, she serves as the Human Resource Manager, where she facilitates HR processes, onboarding for new employees, development and implementation of personnel systems and practices.
Meshelle serves on the board of Jackson State University Alumni Association as Co-chair of the nomination and election committee and president of the Madison County Alumni Chapter. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Women for Progress of MS, Inc., and the American Heart Association.  Meshelle is a graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson 2013 class, and a 2015 Southeastern Council of Foundation Hull Fellow.
Her education includes a Master of Science in Management degree from Belhaven University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Jackson State University. Meshelle is active in her community and lends her leadership skills as an active church member and takes advantage of volunteering opportunities with local charities and community-based projects. She is married to Dwight W. Rawls.
