Foundation for the Mid South’s Response to COVID-19 Coronavirus

Like most of you, the Foundation has been closely monitoring developments related to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), which was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. We are emphasizing the importance of following guidelines and recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We also want to update you on how the Foundation is responding.

  • In an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Foundation staff is working remotely as of Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3, 2020. During that time, we will evaluate the appropriate time to reopen our office.
  • Although our office will be closed, business activities will continue without disruption. The staff will remain available to support you during this time. This includes making all planned payments and related operations.
  • We are instituting a “no travel” policy for all staff! We intend to continue our participation in meetings via phone and video conferencing when possible. We are well-positioned with the tools, technology, systems and practices to continue to work responsively and steadily during this time.

We made these decisions to not only keep our staff safe, but also to do our part to prevent the spread of this virus. We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions at info@fndmidsouth.org, or give us a call at (601) 355-8167. We have also provided contact information for all staff on our website http://www.fndmidsouth.org.
