Kimberly M. McMillan
Kimberly M. McMillan has been employed as the director of finance for the Foundation for the Mid South since February 2009. She is responsible for the management of approximately $20 million in assets. Prior to this position, she was employed as the executive director of the Minority Capital Fund of Mississippi, Inc. for fifteen years. Her work experience includes fifteen years of community-development lending, four years of banking, and four years of working for the government. Mrs. McMillan has a BSBA degree in accounting and an MBA, both from Mississippi College. Her current memberships include: New Hope Baptist Church Community Development Corporation board of directors, economic development & finance committees, Leadership Jackson, and Fiscal and Administrative Officers Group. She formerly served on the following: Jackson Medical Mall Business Association – Board Member; JSU College of Business – Advisory Committee; Mississippi Minority Business Alliance – Advisory Council; Downtown Jackson Partners Incubator Project – Board Member, Entrepreneurial Policy Academy, Economic Development Committee (District 2) – Co-Chair; Urban Financial Services Coalition – President; and Minority Enterprise Development Week Steering Committee – President. Mrs. McMillan is married to Lee McMillan. They have three children: Crystal, Nicolette, and Alexis. They are members of New Hope Baptist Church.
