Changing Lives: An Investment in the Mid South
IDA programs are changing lives in the Mid South. This report describes the success of FMS's Individual Development Account (IDA) Initiative. The report contains data and stories that support the importance of growing IDA programs in our region as a means to help people grow stronger financially and to build assets and wealth.

Mid South Health Initiative:
>>> Our Region, Our Health. This report documents our 18-month exploration of the opportunities and the feasibility of establishing a health initiative fund that would serve low-resource communities and populations in the Mid South.

Mid South Health Initiative Resource Report (PDF)
Prepared for a January 2006 conference with over 100 participants from the Mid South, the report was a product of a partnership between the Resource Center for Rural and Community Health Improvement at the LSU School of Public Health, the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, the Mississippi Health Policy Center at the Mississippi State University, and the Southern Regional Health Consortium (SRHC) serving as the principal. The report includes regional health status data and promising practices.
