TECO BULK TERMINAL COMMUNITY RELIEF FUND
: : HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF EFFORT

TECO Energy has established a fund to help TECO Transport employees who were impacted by Hurricane Katrina. The fund, called the TECO Bulk Terminal Community Relief Fund will be used to provide impacted team members with emergency funds to ease their transition as they work to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of the storm.

TECO Energy will match up to $100,000 in gifts from TECO Energy team members, starting with an initial contribution of $25,000. As funding allows, the TECO Bulk Terminal Community Relief Fund may address other needs in the local area, including St. Bernard Parish and Plaquemines Parish.

“No amount of money can restore what Katrina took from the people of this area,” said Chairman & CEO Sherrill Hudson. “The more than 150 men and women of TECO Bulk Terminal have all experienced unfathomable loss as a result of this devastating storm. Their fellow team members want to do what they can to help them with necessities during their time of need.”
