The Visionary Leadership Institute and the Lilly Endowment will host a gathering designed to build pastoral leadership and development for women in ministry leadership. This fourth annual, two-day assembly will consist of workshops; panels; group discussions; and ministry in word, song, and dance.

To benefit pastors, clergy wives, administrators, nonprofit leaders, Sunday school superintendents, children and youth ministers, and other five-fold ministry leaders, the gathering is designed to help leading women restore and revive their spirits, develop their leadership skills, and fellowship with other women in ministry.

The conference, entitled "The Church Rising from Silence to Action: Health Disparities", will focus on the faith communities role in improving health status from heart disease, HIV/AIDS, obesity, cancer, diabetes, to mental illness.

Included on the agenda of keynote speakers is Hope Morgan Ward, Resident Bishop (United Methodist Church, Mississippi) and Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, M.D., M.B.A., President and CEO, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
